Postcard Paintings - Norway
2nd Twitter Art Exhibit :
I decided to contribute a painting ' All the world's a stage ' for a charity-cause in Moss, Norway.
The aim of the exhibit is that twitter-artists from around the world send a postcard size painting to raise funds for a charity.
So I'm excited to participate.

Abstract Painting - In The Moment
Attempting to paint in an abstract manner, making the first brush-stroke gets momentum going.
I let the paint flow. Leave the mind to wonder.
Bright, bold and spontaneous or a quiet , meditative and reflective rhythm sets in.
Your inspiration might be defined in the moment. Take the viewer on a journey. A glimpse into a story. Outer and inner worlds mingle with metaphor. There can be tension and harmony. Subtle reference to your subject matter.
Paint applied thick, thin, over, under or scratched away. Glazing for some depth and interest.
Step away, breath in the moment ... ( or light a cigarette)

Athenaeum Art Building
The Athenaeum Art Building in Port Elizabeth recently hosted the 200 Eastern Cape Artists Exhibition.
The interior space is impressive , allowing adequate natural lighting.
This image is post-exhibition.
