Madonna and Child - In Abstract
One of my many favourite paintings , unfortunately sold some time ago.
This abstract painting was inspired by a particular waterfall in Hogsback, Eastern Cape.
Hence the title ' Madonna and Child ' .
Spending some time beneath this waterfall sure is invigorating !
If you happen to be in Hogsback , do visit this waterfall ! In summer .

Earth Hour - Glow
How was your Earth Hour 2011 ?
This image taken without a flash using basic mobile phone.
Colours have been manipulated to enhance the glow.
The candlabra is made of a ceramic sculpture I created.
In the background 'Enigma 2' plays its part.
Going back to basics now and again ... can invigorate .

Large Sunflowers Painting with Presence
The large sunflower painting that was commissioned ; in its home ; over 1000km away.
After carefully building a wooden-crate for this painting it arrived safely intact. Remember it is 2,0 x 1,5m in size.
Now with a frame around the painting , it fills the space with a pleasant , invigorating presence.

Summer Days - Cape Town
A stroll from Blue Peter Hotel leads you to this view.
Fresh ocean-air and a dip in the water cools you on hot days.
Table Mountain being visible in the background.
I discovered a little cove between the houses , good spot for picnics.
Some houses so close to the sea; imagine spring-tide is on their door-step.
