Fresh ocean-air and a dip in the water cools you on hot days.
Table Mountain being visible in the background.
I discovered a little cove between the houses , good spot for picnics.
Some houses so close to the sea; imagine spring-tide is on their door-step.

Garden Route

On a road-trip to Cape Town . A popular resting location, Storm River Bridge, for absorbing the natural scenery.
Shops and restaurants available.

Located in the Garden Route of South Africa, also a place to draw some inspiration for painting.

Port Elizabeth CBD - Buildings

After many years of neglect, good to see old buildings being renovated in Port Elizabeth city centre.

Very few buildings with this architectural style remain in Port Elizabeth.

Wonder what it will be used as?

Maybe a hotel?

Beginning stage of ' Enigma 2 '

The early stages of painting. Adopting a figurative technique, which i have not created in a while. Trying to interpret in a semi-abstract manner.

An interesting exhibition coming up. Artist's have to create paintings inspired by selected poetry. My challenge is to do an abstract interpretation of a poem. Should be interesting.
